One of the finest locations in the south of France close to Cannes,
Nice, Monte Carlo and Juan Les Pins. The camp is situated near Antibes,
a short walk from the local small station "Biot", and the
seafront. The caravans are surrounded by trees and hedges providing
pleasant shaded areas and a real sense of privacy. The camp has
a large swimming pool and toddlers pool. (small daily charge is made
during July & August - shorts not allowed in pool). There is also
an excellent restaurant/bar and takeaway service where English is spoken
with 3 course meals from approx 15 euros, plat du jour 8 euros. The
site has the added advantage of being about 20 minutes from nice airport.
Local buses and trains can be accessed nearby, buses 1 euro from November
2007 to many locations, making it ideal for holidaymakers without their
own transport.

ANTIBES - is
an old town packed with local history and places of interest. It is possible
to walk along the sea front ramparts to the massive Fort Carre which towers
over the water front.
BIOT also a lovely village perched on a hill top (5 minutes by car) local
buses run up and down regularly, enroute is the Fernand Leger Museum and
various potteries.
CANNES- perhaps the most recent and attractive
of the big resorts along the coast, famous for its Film Festival. The
old town looks down on the Croiseile and the local people playing Boules
(Pelanque in the South) on the front. The beaches are magnificent, some
pay only, but there are plenty of public area. It is possible to take
a boat ride across to the Lerin Islands (St Marguerite and St Honorat)
even to Monaco and St Tropez plus there are lots of wonderful yachts to
see in the marine, beautiful shops, bars and restaurants.
MONACO - a drive along the Corniche to Monaco
is spectacular. There is a maze of little streets, souvenir shops, the
Grimaldi Palace and Jaques Cousleau Museum, not to forget the famous Monte
Carlo Casino.
NICE - here you can enjoy the famous 'promenade
De Anglais' and attractive gardens and fountains of Messena. The old town
and the flower/antiques markets, well worth a visit and perhaps the best
way to do both is to board the small white tourist Train which runs regularly
throughout the season.
VENTIMILIA - you will need your passport for
this trip across the boarder into Italy, a must for the ladies/ Friday
is market day and you will be able to purchase Italian leather, tableclothes
and woollens. Spirits are cheaper there. An early start is recommended.
